Please note before purchasing: Grayscale line artwork will print differently than traditional black-line artwork.
Black-line illustrations use solid, opaque lines, resulting in clean, crisp edges. Grayscale illustrations are created by reducing the opacity of the original black lines to produce softer gray lines. Because transparency is used to achieve this effect, the edges of grayscale lines may appear slightly softer, textured, or pixelated, particularly when viewed or photographed at very close range.
This is a normal characteristic of grayscale artwork and printing and is not a printing defect.
If you prefer extremely clean, solid, crisp outlines, we recommend choosing the Black Line version when available.
