Skyycolors

Hi everyone! My name is Sky and I’m a coloring book artist from Northern Michigan and a proud mom of my two year old son and 1 month old daughter. Creativity has always been a big part of my life, I come from a very artsy family where my mom found any reason to make something more artsy and my dad uses his artistic talent for things like building custom furniture, houses, and occasionally painting. I love creating whimsical and unique designs for others to bring to life.

 

As I mentioned earlier, I am a mom of two which has taught me to slow down and enjoy the moment and as someone who also is obsessed with coloring that is something I think about when creating books. I want each page to be something that anyone can enjoy, simple enough that all you have to do is lay some colors down but also having so much room to add your own details if that’s what you wish to do. My kids are 100% my motivation when creating books or pages, I want to show them that no matter what your hobbies are you can create something beautiful and make a difference.

 

When I’m not at my desk drawing or coloring, you’ll usually find me spending time with my babies and soaking up warm weather (when we have it). My work is inspired by the little moments that make life feel cozy, calm, and colorful and my hope is that my books are a safe space for everyone, no matter the skill level.
